چکیده
Annona muricata L. (soursop) fruit, consumed globally, is highly susceptible to attack by fungal organisms. Fungal fruit rots' impact on gradually increasing with distribution in tropical areas, including southern Nigeria, resulting reducing market availability and quality. This study was aimed at surveying the post-harvest disease symptoms associated fruits displayed for sales incidence-severity, which indicates extent of damage caused symptoms. Soursop samples Port Harcourt Local Government Area (PHALGA) Obio-Apkor Rivers State, were surveyed. Each scored a severity scale 0–4 (0% no disease), (1–25% trace (25–50% light (50–75% moderate disease) (75–100% severe disease). The data obtained subjected Analysis Variance (ANOVA) Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) 5% level probability using LSD (Least Significant Difference). revealed that dominated dry rot, soft anthracnose, powdery mildew diplodia rot. There significant difference between location pairs all incidence muricata, respectively. diseases stage pose threat storage durability, fruits.
